Sheharyar Ahmad

Sheharyar Ahmad, PhD, recently completed his doctorate in the Sciences of the Mind at the University of Campania, “Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy. His professional interests focus on extending Interpersonal Acceptance–Rejection Theory (IPARTheory) into health and applied domains by examining how early parental acceptance–rejection shapes psychological adjustment, interpersonal functioning, and health-related quality of life across the lifespan. His research investigates theory-driven pathways linking early relational experiences to clinical and chronic health conditions using mixed-methods approaches, network analysis, and structural equation modeling. He is particularly interested in integrating developmental and relational frameworks with neurobiological and epidemiological perspectives to better understand how early interpersonal environments contribute to both individual-level psychological processes and broader population health outcomes
