Parisa Seyed Mousavi, PhD., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Family Research Institute at Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. For the past ten years, she has been working on issues surrounding interpersonal acceptance and rejection, parental attachment, parent-child bonding, parent-infant relationship, and how perceived parental caregiving experiences impact mental representations of parents and offspring. She is also interested in attachment and mentalization-based interventions for parents and children.
