Parisa Seyed Mousavi, PhD., formerly served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the Family Research Institute, Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. Now, she is a Co-Founder and Supervisor of the Child and Family Department at Hillan Psychological & Counselling Services in Iran and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in Canada. For the past 15 years, she has been working on issues surrounding interpersonal acceptance and rejection, parental attachment, parent-child bonding, parent-infant relationship, and how perceived parental caregiving experiences impact mental representations of parents and offspring. She is also interested in attachment and mentalization-based interventions for parents and children.
