Nour Zaki (Egypt)


Nour Zaki, PhD., is an Assistant Professor and a Psychotherapist at American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt. Her research interests focus on attachment issues, prenatal psychology, experience of babies in the womb, mother-infant prenatal and postnatal bonding, intergenerational transmission of attachment, as well as the process by which interpersonal acceptance-rejection of a mother in her own childhood affects her own transition to motherhood. Nour has worked as a psychotherapist in both Cairo (Egypt) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and has worked with diverse populations from different cultures and nationalities. She has translated several measures of IPARTheory into Arabic for research projects in Egypt.
