Muhammad Mussaffa Butt, Ph.D. Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan. He is interested in exploring the role of interpersonal acceptance-rejection in substance abuse, emotion regulation, intergroup conflict, and gender related issues. His Ph.D. work explored the role of interpersonal acceptance-rejection in substance abusers. He is interested in neuroscience-based explanations of IPARTheory. Currently, he is working on a number of projects related to IPARTheory. He also provides guidance to Pakistani students interested in working on IPARTheory and he works with the Chair (Prof. Farah Malik) of the Urdu Translation Committee Moreover, he has translated and validated a number of IPARTheory measures in Urdu.
