Diane L. Putnick, PhD., Statistician with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Division of the Population Health Research (DiPHR). Dr. Putnick studies prenatal and perinatal factors that promote child development and well-being. Her research interests include risk and protective factors for developmental delays, parental mental health, and developmental methodology. She has studied agreement between parents in acceptance-rejection, relations between parental acceptance-rejection and child academic and social functioning, and how parental religiousness relates to acceptance-rejection and child functioning, all within a cross-cultural framework.
