Diane L. Putnick, PhD., Statistician with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Division of the Intramural Population Health Research (DIPHR). Her research interests include child and family functioning across cultures, and parenting processes. Especially, pregnancy and follow-up the children into early development. She also has an interest in developmental methods. She has studied agreement between parents in acceptance-rejection, relations between parental acceptance-rejection and child academic and social functioning, and how parental religiousness relates to acceptance-rejection and child functioning, all within a cross-cultural framework.
